Young people on our Foundation Learning programme will have the opportunity to achieve qualifications from AQA in functionalskills: maths, English and ICT as well as personal and social education in units such as personal action planning, drugs education, healthy lifestyle and behaviour in the workplace.

When we have established that the young person is ‘work ready’, we will use one of our committed employers to offer a trade Apprenticeship or full-time employment.

The objective of the Foundation Learning programme is to place young people into employment, Apprenticeships or further education.

Raise offers the opportunity to experience ‘real’ work experience by engaging in community projects with experienced tradespeople.
