Raise is committed to contributing to the Social, Economical and Environmental (SEE) needs of the community. Together we can create a brighter, healthier, greener and more successful community which is inclusive and harmonious to all.
Raise is committed to raising the aspirations of young people and the community. we want to enable people to stay safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, achieve economic and social well being, and be able to make a positive contribution to the community.
“Our ultimate test is whether our society can do for our social and emotional health what we have done for our physical health. The huge improvements in the physical health of children over the last century show us what is possible” (Early Intervention the next steps HM Gov Jan 2011).
Ensuring young people have the motivation, confidence and opportunity to access and achieve in education, training and employment is crucial to our investment in the future. Youth unemployment is a prominent concern and especially for those young people who already face many barriers to learning and work. It is even more important than ever, that our young people are prepared with the skills, education and training they will need for future opportunities for employment. Young people need to become ready for the industries of the future.
We need to raise the aspirations of our young people in order to create a better future.Too many of our young people have given up hope and no longer imagine getting their dream job, being able to past their driving test, buy a car, go on holidays abroad, buy a house, get married, have children, contribute; and play their part within society.
“Let’s Raise the youth, invest in our communities, and invest in our future”
